The ladybug party theme is ideal for spring and summer party ideas. We see these cute little bugs every year and most people love them. How many insects can you say that about? When we see these little ladies dressed in their red and black uniforms we know spring has sprung and we look forward to more warm days.
Make Your Own Lady Bug Party Invitations
Make your own party invitations with some red, black and white construction paper and some googly eyes. Cut out a round or oval shape with one of the colors, make small circle cut outs with the other color. Glue the spots on to the back of your invitation. Glue on the eyes on the and make some thin cuts of black paper to be antenna and glue them in place. Write all the party info on the white paper and glue it on the underside of the invitation. You can also use ladybug stickers to decorate your paper.
Let's Have Lady Bug Party Fun
Make a beanbag toss game out of a card board box, it is easy. Get some red and black polka dot wrapping paper to decorate the box and find some beanbags or sponges for the kids to toss in. Just cut a hole or two in your cardboard box and you have made your very own party game. I told you making a game was easy!
Turn Duck Duck Goose into something with Lady Bug in the name.
Pin the Spot on the Ladybug is a classic game with a red and black twist. It is also very easy to make using construction paper.
Giant Bubbles Are Fun All The Time
Make Giant Bubbles with a bubble wand set. It has nothing to do with the theme but it is perfect for a warm weather party and it is lots of fun. Fun, fun, fun games are so important at a party for kids.
Bug Treasure Hunt
Treasure hunts are always a lot of fun even when the treasure is plastic bugs that you have hidden all over the yard. Kids like the darndest things, don't they?
What Do Ladybugs Eat?
I am not sure, but I do know what kids eat! Make some wraps or sandwiches with the crusts cut off to make your party food look fancy. Cut up some fresh fruit and serve with a dip. You can make the dip with plain yogurt and marshmallow in a jar. It's tasty and the kids will love it...and so will you.
Make ladybug cupcakes, like there was ever a different choice! You can make these special little cupcakes easily. My cupcake decorating ideas are simple because that is the way I like it. Just frost your mini cakes with red frosting and add some Junior Mints or other small round soft black candies. Use some black string licorice to make the antenna and use some sugar decoration eyes to make the eyes. You can also use a dot of white frosting with a smaller black dot in the center as eyes. Some people like to add eyelashes so the little ladybug cupcakes look as pretty as can be.
Black and Red Party Favors
Small bottles of bubbles, sidewalk chalk, a head band with antenna on it (or make your own using headbands and pipe cleaners. You an add some pom poms too if you like.) Or you can break the party bank and go for the ultimate party favor for this theme, a plush ladybug stuffed toy.

I'm a Yankee fan, but I still agree. The rivalry will be missing something w/o that big B. I did read that the new jerseys/hats are just alternates, though. I thought that they were using the regular ones for most of the games???

The celebrity autograph industry is big business nowadays. If you are thinking of buying a celebrity autograph, the most important thing to remember is to buy from a reputable source to avoid disappointment. This will increase the odds that you are buying an Authentic Autograph. Some other expert buyers and sellers would advise to avoid buying from sellers who sell at a fixed price and are members of exclusive or Rare Autograph societies. These dealers tend not to have the seller's best interests at heart and sometimes the prices are ridiculously high and you end up getting ripped off. This means that if you are planning on selling on your items you will be very unlikely to make a profit.
The best place to buy celebrity autographs is to go to an autograph auction site where prices generally sell for a bit less than retail prices. This is ideal if you are looking to make a profit from investing. eBay has made the celebrity autograph business expand dramatically as it has made it much more accessible and easy to buy on the internet all over the world.
If you are looking to sell your autographs to a dealer then you need to take into account that they have overhead expenses as a result of running a business on a day-to-day level. This generally means that the dealer will only pay half of the retail price in order for them to be getting a good deal. Prices do vary, some pay slightly more than the retail price and some slightly less.
You need to be aware that if you attempt to sell to dealer-members who belong to high-brow or rare autograph societies then they tend to pay even less in order to cover costs lost due to the lack of proper sales and marketing promotion. So be aware who you sell your items to.
If you are in the situation where you need immediate money and not at the highest price, then a quick sale to a dealer might be best. If this isn't for you then you can try selling your autographs at an autograph auction. Instead of only realising 50% of the value of your items like when you sell to an autograph dealer, an auction allows you to get anywhere from 60%-80% of the current price.
The most important to keep in mind when buying or selling celebrity autographs is whether or not they are authentic. Autograph authentication is a hotly disputed genre of the memorabilia industry. There are lots of authentication companies out there that work to bring down the risk of a buyer being ripped off by a fake autograph and the margin of error is significantly low. However, other experts claim that you should not deal with the authentication companies at all and recommend that you instead get a knowledgeable dealer or collector to assess your item.
Lots of people buy celebrity autographs or signed memorabilia in order to sell it on as an investment. The best way to make the best investment is to buy one-of-a-kind or two, three, four or five of-a-kind collectible items. It is all a case of supply or demand; it depends what celebrity is popular at the time etc.

Cheerleading in professional basketball leagues such as the NBA is very similar to the cheerleading you find in professional football leagues. The squads are typically made up of dance teams or cheerleading squads and the focus is the support of the team they are cheering for. The cheerleading squads of professional basketball teams, like those of professional football teams, spend a great deal of time in the public relations arena. The largest part of their time is spent promoting the basketball team itself and in being involved in the fund raising efforts by the team for various agencies.
Cheerleading is thought to have begun in the 1800's and was primarily popular in the High School and college scenes until around 1960 when it made its debut into the professional sports arena with the Baltimore Colts claiming the right as being the first NFL team to have a cheer squad. The Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, however are credited for making the cheerleading squads what they are today and it gained such popularity that professional basketball teams got in on it as well.
It is believed that the first NBA cheerleading squad appeared with the Indiana Pacers in the 1972-1973 season and the trend grew from there.
Just like in the NFL, the cheerleaders often go on to do other things and they aren't "airheads" as the stereotype would have them to be. In fact, many have gone on to become quite famous in their own right. One example is Paula Abdul. She began her long career as a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Lakers and then went on to become a well-known recording artist and more recently as one of the judges on the world renowned American Idol TV show. It was recently confirmed that she will go on to star in Simon Cowell's new show "X-Factor" scheduled to debut in the US in the summer and fall months when American Idol is not on.
She's not the only one however that went on to even greater fame. Next we find that Bonnie Jill-Laflin was not only a cheerleader for the NBA's Golden State Warriors, but she was also on the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad for a period of time. She went further to make guest appearances on shows like Ally McBeal and Baywatch among other things before most recently settling in to her new job as a scout for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Eve Torres, a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Clippers is currently a WWE diva on the RAW brand. She herself is a former pro wrestler and she also works as a model and an actress.
It's not so difficult to become a cheerleader for a professional basketball team or to get on one of the dance teams. The most important things that they look for are women that are physically fit and in great shape. The interested candidate should also be able to dance and learn new dances and moves as directed by the team's choreographer. There's a lot of hard work involved and while the pay isn't all that great many of the cheerleaders use this to catapult their careers into other areas.

Ways to Display your Conference Banner
Ways to Display Your Conference Banner
When you are using a custom vinyl banner to display information about your conference, there are two main methods of installation. You can choose an indoor or outdoor installation, depending on the type of custom vinyl banner that you decide to use. Here are some installation tips for both types of custom vinyl banners.
First the Outdoor Installation
There are two methods for installing your vinyl banner outdoors. The first, a semi-permanent solution, will work well if your conference is scheduled to last through an entire week, or if you are expecting adverse wind or weather conditions.
This installation method will require a solid surface upon which to hang the custom banner. You will need to have permission to drill holes in the surface if you are holding your conference at a different location than your business. In the event that you cannot get permission, you can attach your banner to a large board.
Once you have permission, you will need to attach the banner to the wall or surface using screws. It is a good idea to place a washer between the banner and the surface for a tighter and more secure fit.
You can also tie up a banner using a cord that goes through the grommets of the banner and is then attached to two brackets. If you do not have anywhere to display this type of banner, you can use two poles that have sturdy bases that are weighted. The poles can easily be removed and transported when your event has ended. The poles will need to have brackets or hooks to hold the rope of the banner.
Second the Indoor Installation
You can hang a personalized vinyl banner indoors using any of the methods mentioned above. Portable poles are recommended if you need to hang a banner inside and you are not allowed to place holes in the surface at the conference center.
Banner frames are a handy way to display a vinyl banner without needing to worry about hanging them. A banner frame has a weighted base and an open frame. The Vinyl banner will be inserted in the center of the frame and pulled taut. This will keep your banner looking nice, and it is easy to remove it when the conference is over.
Some banner frames come with the ability to adjust the height. This will allow you to have a banner that is situated over a table or hang it higher in the air. If you are not confident in being able to attach a banner to the surface of a wall, this method of installation is highly recommended.
In the end, the location for your conference will most likely be the deciding factor in how you will install your banners. Always check with the owner of the building before attaching a banner to any surface.

Am I being haunted by Jayne Mansfield?
I was ripped off a couple years ago when I bought a Signed Photograph of Jayne Mansfield, the seller took my money and never sent the photograph, I was making a painting of Jayne around the same time too and though I finished it I have never displayed it on my wall but keep the canvas rolled up as it seems too intense. When a pair of Jaynes earrings came up for sale on a celebrity collectibles site I bought them and still have them in a box frame, I recently bought a rubber Jayne Mansfield in a bikini hot water bottle doll so I have a small collection of Jayne stuff or Jayneabilia. I don't feel spooked in a scared way but why do I feel slightly haunted by Jayne Mansfield, I don't believe in ghosts.
Or is it just that she happened to be one of the fittest looking women in the world and I'm just a bit obsessed.

How much is an autographed football from the original 1966 Atlanta Falcons worth?
It is in a plastic bag inside it's original box. The box has minor wear, but the only thing wrong with the ball is that it is deflated. Included in the box is an original pump and instructions for pumping.
The ball is signed by a number of players on the very first Atlanta Falcons football team from 1966.
Any ideas on how much it could be worth??
