British Stuntmen is someone who performs deadly stunts, frequently as a career.
These stunts are sometimes rigged in order that they look dangerous while still having safety features, but frequently they are as deadly as they appear to be. There is an inherent risk in the performance of all stunt work in film, TV and stage work. Stunt doubles are infrequently called'stunties.'
The terms stunt double and body double might be used interchangeably for cases where special skills are needed,eg dancing, playing the piano, or competitive skiing. Stunt doubles should be distinguished fromstunt performers, who perform stunts for the sake of the stunt alone, frequently as a career.
Many stunt doubles have happy and long production careers as a part of a Star Actor's contractual'support crew' together with the star's cooks, trainers, dressers, assistants. Stunt doubles for Eddie Murphy, John Wayne, Harrison Ford, Steve Martin and Michael Landon have been associated with their lead actors for decades.
'Stunt double' is not the exclusive province of humans ; several dog actors are used as doubles, as an example Enzo was the stunt double for his aging sire Moose on the sitcom Frasier.Soccer, the dog who portrayed Wishbone, allegedly hated swimming and thus had stunt doubles.

Acrobatics has maintained its status as a spectacular bodily art ; complex gymnastic feats are now frequently performed with equipment such as balls, unicycles, trampolines, tightropes, and trapezes.

Its popularity increased in the 20 th century with such performers as the Flying Wallendas ( see Karl Wallenda ) .
Traditionally, acrobatic abilities were kept within families and passed from parents to kids. This is still true particularly among family circus groups these days. However, most acrobats are now taught by bigger scale education systems, as circuses are now made of many more professionals than they used to be. Many schools specializing in acrobatics art are providing a constant resource of acrobatic artists. A few of these faculties are independently operated, and some are supported and affiliated to circuses.

He made some great shows and impacts, but from the movie about him and some things I've heard it made me wonder about him personally. Do you know if he really was a Christian and if he was saved?
When the Bible says "Judge not lest ye be judged", it is speaking of this very point. It is not for humans to decide whether or not an individual is saved. That judgment is for God alone.

Malibu Valet Parking Service
Malibu is home to the rich and famous, with many movie stars included in its population, so it's no surprise that a valet parking service is offered almost anywhere you might go in or around the city.
Originally a Native American settlement, Malibu sits against the Pacific coastline and is home to around 13,000 Californians. One of its logos is “27 Miles of Scenic beauty” even though the city, once incorporated, measured actually only 21 miles instead of the original 27. Home to stars of stage and screen, Malibu once named actor Martin Sheen as honorary mayor. When he welcomed the homeless to Malibu, the affluent population balked, and one citizen even talked of bussing the homeless to Sheen's residence.
Malibu's residents are all wealthy professionals, most with ties to the entertainment industry. Even without the relaxed geography of the city that makes walking a very impractical form of transportation, a valet parking service would be a necessity because of the preferred lifestyle of the city's population. These people expect, and get, the best at every turn, so the idea of not being able to get out of their cars at the door of a nightclub, restaurant, and even office building, would probably drive them to frequent other establishments that did offer a valet parking service to take their cars to a parking lot and bring them back when they're ready to leave.
Many Malibu-area establishments offer a valet parking service free to their guests and patrons, while others charge a small fee for the parking, often included right in their prices. Tipping is expected even for a free valet parking service, however, and the average tip for a valet to conveniently park your car can be anywhere between $3 and $15, with the price for valet services that aren't free ranging just as widely, with some charging one flat fee, and others charging according to how many hours your car is parked.
Surely even if a valet parking service cost ten times what it does, the wealthy residents of Malibu would happily pay it for the convenience of not having to find parking places in full and overcrowded parking lots. Once a status symbol in many cities in California, a valet parking service is now expected and considered a daily part of Malibu residents' lifestyles.
Those traveling to other parts of Los Angeles are greeted with Los Angeles valet parking services at places like Custom Hotel, Key Club and House of Blues, with even gyms and health clubs offering a valet parking service to their members.
A good Malibu valet parking service is a must at all Malibu social events. Guests coming to holiday parties, birthday parties and weddings will expect a valet to park their cars, even if the estate they're visiting appears to have acres available for parking. With social events, a valet parking service is still a sign of affluence, as much as it is a simple courtesy for guests and the sign of a gracious host.

I recognized Dean Martin's voice but the other male voice is not familiar to me. Who is it and why have they used a second voice - it takes away from the smoothness of Martin's voice.

The Life of James Dean
James Dean, strange you know the name before the man, indeed many film buffs I know never even seen the movies he made and many are startled on discovering that he only starred in three movies. Yet, everyone knows James Dean, his ubiquitous image charms us from all kinds of angles, you would have to live on the moon to not recognise his face, and indeed it appears that to know him is to be seduced by him. The enigma that he is though is still somewhat of a riddle, how can one man, no matter how attractive he is and no matter how impressive his duds, how can he capture the imagination of people born decades after his death who have never seen any of his movies?
The 1950s in America were an era of unprecedented growth, people were beginning to have extra cash to spend on luxuries, people were beginning to realise that they could enjoy life, it was the beginning of a lifestyle that would make America the envy of the world. This was a golden era for a America that was reeling from the deprivations of the 1930s and the horrors of the 1940s. The children of the fifties were a blessed bunch or at least they were supposed to be, that was what was preached to them. They had everything that their parents had not, times were good, children could stay in school, unbelievably some could even drive there, they had countless options, college was on the horizon and everyone was beaming. Except perhaps their parents and well, also their children, so in fact does that mean that nobody was beaming at all? Why not? Life is not that simple, the consciousness of the country would not allow everybody to move on, there existed a shared memory of the brutality and inhumanity of the Second World War and the humiliation and constant yearning of the decade before that. Those who had lived through it were not going to be overjoyed that their children had the keys of the kingdom in their back pocket. Of course there was envy involved but more importantly there was an overriding fear that addled their minds. It had been drilled into their heads that life was not supposed to be easy and so they maintained a heavy feeling of dread, drifting around like harbingers of doom. Obviously, to their children’s bright eyes and light hearts their parents were gloom merchants who refused to enjoy in the frivolity that was life, there was going to be friction, there was going to be a lot of friction. The older generations knew the dangers of the world and therefore did their utmost to maintain the most moderate course possible, anything extreme was stamped out immediately. There were still lingering dangers in the world like the Korean War, Castro’s Cuba and the Suez Crisis to ensure that they remained vigilant. Cinema was to mirror this mass paranoia, this mass holding back; the ravages of the past had taken hold, the country was scarred. Bette Davis starred as an ageing Broadway star in Joseph Mankiewicz’s All About Eve (1950), Gloria Swanson was a troubling symbol of living in a faded past in Billy Wilder’s Sunset Boulevard (1950) and old Bogie never looked so wracked in John Huston’s The African Queen (1951). The great stars were aging, and Hollywood was up to other tricks - scaremongering the already suspicious populace with the brazenly analogous The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) or the desperate escapism that Gene Kelly was peddling in Singin’ in the Rain (1952). James Dean grew up in the midst of this overbearing conservatism, or rather existed through it as he put it, on his uncle’s farm in Fairmount, Indiana. He landed in the eye of the storm, California in 1949, studying drama in UCLA and it appeared to all intensive purposes grasping for the American Dream. And it seemed like he would gain it as he starred in a Pepsi-Cola television commercial, landed a few walk on parts in movies and got to say a few lines in Sailor Beware (1952) starring Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin. On moving to New York he gained admission to America’s most prestigious acting school, the Actors Studio to study Method Acting under the legendary Lee Strasberg. The world was opening up for the young Dean, he caught the eye of Elia Kazan who wished to cast him in his adaptation of Steinbeck’s East of Eden. Kazan sent Dean to see Steinbeck, the novelist viewed him as something of an upstart, he and Kazan were sold, Dean would be perfect for the main role of Cal Trask. Indeed, the character was pure Dean - disaffected Cal railing against the stuffy conventions that attempt to bind him, exposing the unholy truths that lie beneath the charade of modern living and of course looking mighty fine and attracting all the girls. And it ain’t all straight forward, it’s muddy and confused, hard to tell exactly whether Cal is good or bad, Dean had arrived, he keeps us guessing to this day. It got him the Oscar but tragically he wouldn’t be around to receive it. The guessing game would become all the more compelling in Rebel Without a Cause (1955), in which he played THE rebellious teenager Jim Stark. In retrospect it’s a strange portrayal, Dean like an overgrown teenager, a little man in the Edwardian style of the word. Impossible to understand just like adolescence. Shot in little over a month, the movie would change everything at the time, Dean was a megastar, no doubt. Giant (1956) was tragically to be Dean’s final movie, it’s so alluring, unnervingly offering us glimpses of an aged Dean - a washed up drunkard with busted ego, lonely and wretched. Dean was dead before the film was edited, pointedly he would not live to even see himself old on screen. The ultimate young rebel would remain forever young, and the hordes lapped it up, raising him to messianic proportions. Each year that passes, Dean becomes younger than us, trapped in teen angst forever, unattainable forever.

History Of American Gold Buffalo Coin
The history of American gold Buffalo coin went back to 1913, when the famous Buffalo Nickel was produced for the first time in history. Then Treasury Secretary Franklin MacVeagh hired Sculptor James Earle Fraser to design a new American Nickel. Produced in 1913 to 1938, Buffalo Nickel features an Indian chief on the obverse side, and a American Bison, not a Buffalo as commonly believed, standing on a mound of dirt on the other side. Soon after the Buffalo Nickel went into circulation, a problem occurred: the raised mound part wore away quickly. The design of later 1913 Buffalo Coins was modified to take off the raised mound part.
In 2005, Congress passed the Presidential $1Coin Act, which authorized the US Mint to issue a 1 oz 24-Karat gold Bullion coin. The legislation was quite specific, mandating the design of new .9999 fine gold coin: The coin "shall bear the original designs by James Earle Fraser, 'which appear on the 5-cent coin commonly referred to as the 'Buffalo nickel' or the '1913 Type 1'." In other words, the new coin should carry the famed 1913 Buffalo Nickels' design by Fraser.
As a result, the American gold Buffalo coin was released to the public in 2006. Unlike previous American gold coins, American gold Buffalo coin was the first 0.9999 fine gold coin released by the US Mint. The coin was an immediate success. The US Mint sold a total of 323,000 coins in only seven months. By comparison, only 201,500 1 oz Gold Eagles, the world's best selling gold bullion coins, were sold that year.
As the 2005 Presidential Coin Act mandated, the 2006 American gold Buffalo coin is almost a replica of the 1913 Buffalo Nickel.The face side of the Gold Buffalo coin features the American Indian chief and the word "Liberty." The back side design is the same American bison standing on the mound. You will also see $50 1oz. .9999 FINE GOLD, and IN GOD WE TRUST inscribed on each gold Buffalo coin.
The US Mint continued producing the American gold Buffalo coins in 2007 and 2008. The coins are so popular among collectors and investors that, for a time in late 2008, the US Mint had to suspend sales because they could not keep up with demand.
