I Tried Rap And..
Well it has been years sincve this incident occured. Happened around 3 years back. Had been seeing too much of rap and was too excited to be a popular rapper. I had been dreaming of rapping in front of thousands of people. People were striving to get my autograph . I was driving away in a ferarri looking out of the glass. Then came the harder part ; to learn how to actually rap. I started with wrting rap songs soon to realize I was writing more of what could be called kindergarten poems. Sometimes with much effort I would sweat out to make up a rap which my friends would can more of a literature piece instead of a rap. I was nowhere getting close to writing a rap.
Then surfed the internet. Spent hours reading how to rap and write rap songs. Well one day while chatting I got an important tip ; observe and copy. Well , I started out by observing musics videos on TV. I wrote down the meaning of their songs. Then tried to convert each sentence into lyrics. But alas I was again into poetry and not rap. After a little brainstorming I found out what I was missing. The fact was that I had to use street language to rap. After all rap was an invention of the street culture.
I then started replacing all the good and smooth words from my 'poetry to rough street language and wallah ! I had half a dozen good raps.
I bought a synonyms dictionary and started referring to it often and in no time I was writing good raps. But the most essential quality for good rapping is to rap any time and every time. I mean you should be rappign in the bathroom , in the toilet whenever you are free. If you do you'll go a long road ahead of the average rapper and may rise to the top some day.more on http://teenmoolah.blogspot.com/

Brooklyn Dodger Autographs
Brooklyn Dodger autographs have special appeal for thousands of dedicated fans of the legendary team. Although Brooklyn had baseball teams in the mid 1800s, many experts consider the Brooklyn Atlantics, founded in 1883, to be the original team of the Brooklyn Dodgers. The team went through many transformations before becoming officially known as the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1930s.
In 1913, the Brooklyn Dodgers began playing at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, New York. In 1939, the Brooklyn Dodgers made history when they became the first team in New York to broadcast by radio the events of a major league game, and the first major league team to televise a major league game. Major figures of baseball participated in early Dodger history including Wilbert Robinson who managed the team for 1,375 wins, Casey Stengel who started as manager for the Brooklyn team in 1934, and the legendary Babe Ruth who in 1938, had his first and only coaching job for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Baseball fans avidly collect seek autographs from these early figures.
Mainly through the brave efforts of Dodger Manager Branch Rickey, Jackie Robinson became one of the first African American players on a major league team. A witness to Dodger games described Robinson's presence as "electrifying." Along with Rex Barney, Roy Campanella, Carl Erskine, Carl Furillo, Gil Hodges, Sandy Koufax, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, and many other legendary players, the team captured the imagination and loyalty of Brooklyn baseball fans that especially loved to cheer the team when they played the rival New York Yankees. Baseball writer Roger Kahn described the Brooklyn team in a baseball book as "The Boys of Summer".
Autographs from the "Boys of Summer" from Brooklyn occasionally appear on the autograph marketplace in the form of slips of paper, Signed Photos, documents, signed gloves, and signed baseballs. Duke Snider provided thousands of his autographs at signing events. Baseballs signed by Gil Hodges can range in cost from about $300 to $750, depending on condition and quality of his signature. However, gloves and original uniforms signed by players of the Brooklyn Dodgers have sold at auction for thousands of dollars.
The final Brooklyn Dodgers game was played on September 24, 1957, when they handily beat the Pittsburgh Pirates. Much to the disappointment of loyal Brooklyn fans, the Dodgers moved one year later to Los Angeles. The era of major league Brooklyn baseball had come to an end with only memories, nostalgia and Brooklyn Dodger autographs that remind us of a much beloved time in the annals baseball.

The World Championships Of America
On his way to the practice range Tuesday at Doral, Padraig Harrington stopped to sign autographs for three fans. One was from Puerto Rico, another from Colombia, the third from Peru.
So at least it sounds like a World Golf Championship.
And there is little doubt that events like the CA Championship look like a World Golf Championship, with 19 countries represented in a field of 68 players.
But there is no getting around the dateline, which is strictly American – Arizona, Florida, Ohio. The PGA Tour, which is the managing partner of these world events, now can point proudly to another WGC that is held each fall in Shanghai, although it's hard to recognize the HSBC Champions when the PGA Tour still doesn't count it as an official victory.
"That's inside baseball," commissioner Tim Finchem said in a recent interview. "What's important is what the fans see, and they see tournaments designed to attract all the best players in the world. And by and large, that's what they've done."
To that point, the WGCs have done well entering their 12th year.
What continues to disappoint, however, is how these world championships remain concentrated in the United States.
They once traveled to countries like Spain, Australia and Ireland. Momentum began to slow when the all the WGCs were held in America in 2003, and it didn't help that one of them was played on a new golf course located so deep in the woods that it was either in northern Georgia or southern Tennessee, maybe both.
This is the fourth straight year the original three WGCs are in America. And they aren't going anywhere soon.
The title sponsorship at Doral expires this year, and there is no indication Computer Associates will renew. That would seem to be a ripe time for this WGC to travel abroad, except that Finchem says the tournament is tied more to the TV contract than a sponsor contract. The network television deal is through 2012.
"I think we're a little bit away from that question," Finchem said. "We're not going to make any changes until we're through ‘12. We have a television schedule to meet. What happens after ‘12 with the WGCs is a function of a variety of factors."
Ideally, the tour could release Doral from its WGC status and return it to a full-field event that it had been since 1962. The Blue Monster once bustled with activity from the first ray of sunlight until darkness, with 144 players split up into morning and afternoon tee times. Under the WGC structure of a limited field and no cut, the 68 players tee off in a span of two hours.
The WGC event then would be free to move. And without a new title sponsor, it might do that.
It just won't go very far.
Even if CA doesn't renew its sponsorship, or if the tour can't find a replacement, Finchem said this WGC event will stay in the Eastern time zone of the United States.
"We don't see any reason to move right now," he said. "It meets our television requirements and air times."
The potential for these World Golf Championships living up to their name could come after 2012, and the Olympics could be the catalyst. Harrington is among those who believe South America – Brazil, in particular – could be the next big growth area in golf.
The Irishman went to Brazil in 2000 when the European Tour had consecutive tournaments. He lost in a playoff to Roger Chapman in Rio de Janeiro, then won the following week in Sao Paulo.
"It is an untapped market for golf," Harrington said. "South America is the next big growth area."
The Nationwide Tour just finished its first tournament in Colombia, and Finchem indicated more tournaments could follow to help build interest ahead of the 2016 Olympics.
"We will be looking for some opportunities to play some PGA Tour, Champions Tour, some golf in Brazil leading into ‘16 to create some interest in that country, particularly Rio for sure," he said. "I can't tell you what form that would take. But we definitely want to play."
Finchem has mentioned taking the Presidents Cup to South America in 2015. Argentina is among countries interested, although that might not move the needle in Brazil.

The Top Two Methods of Autograph Collection
Autograph collecting can be a very rewarding and a fun hobby. If you are autograph collecting as an investment, meaning you plan to sell part of your collection from time to time, you may be disappointment with some of your autographs. Celebrities may use several ways to provide autographs for you. One methods used for autographs is a designated staff member. This person uses his time to autograph pictures, and other memorabilia for autograph collecting. Secretaries and other staff members practice signing the signature of celebrities and sign a very similar signature for autograph seekers.
The famous can stretch their visibility this way. Time is the reason for using others to do what fans want the famous to do. Many times there is no way to know the difference except you see it for yourself. Autograph collecting requires a human touch and unlike some of the other kinds of collecting can be easily copied. When you get two autographs from the same person and they are just alike, you know that some kind of automation was used.
It is humanly impossible to sign your name the same way every time. Therefore, some celebrities choose to use individuals to sign for them so the autograph is given a look of authenticity. The celebrity business have many requests daily for signatures, so this is one way they choose to accommodate these requests. It is not unheard of for a famous person to be completely out of the country for months and months at the time and still send you an autograph from their address. For the hobbyist, this is acceptable in many instances because they have no interests in making money off of the signature. If the autograph collecting is done as an investment, it is better to get autographs in person, and then you know what you are getting. There are many outlets too that sell autographed pictures and other items by celebrities. Many of these businesses are unscrupulous dealers who are out to make a quick buck.
Choose what kind of autograph collecting you wish to do. If you are just look for something as a reference point, this may not matter to your collection. These autographs are not free. These are businesses and these people earn a living selling all kinds of collectibles not just signatures but any collectible that will generate a dollar. If you do serious autograph collecting, take the time to see the person sign, and then you will know that you are getting the real thing. Another way stars use to send out autographs is by using a stamper. When a signature stamper is used, you will know it because every signature is the same. If you get two signatures from the same person and the two signatures are exactly alike more then likely a stamper has been used or some other form of automation.
With the advances in technology today, it is very easy to duplicate a signature. There are dealers of collectibles who preprint autographed photos of celebrities. If you want to have a true collection, when you are autograph collecting, it is best to get your own autographs.

Reasonable rate for an artist photos?
Hey people!
I just did a shoot with a Country Singer recently and i offered her the shoot on a TFP basis however her publicist now wants to buy some of the images for her promos and print outs for her autograph cards. What is a reasonable rate to offer her the images? She will credit all my work but obviously there is a fee involved and because this is my first time in a situation like this i have no idea what to charge.

You should come up with a pricing invoice.
Normally when you charge for shoots you would include everything within the invoice. Everything! from grip assistants, make-up artists, stylists, to caterers ect. ect. Everything should be included, you shouldn't have to pay a dime. These invoices usually also include your creative fee. This is how much you believe your time is worth and how much time you spent shooting and in post-production.
If this was a TFP shoot and they want to buy I would suggest you at least charge them as much as your creative fee would be. For instance $500-$2000 pr project creative fee, plus anything additional you would like to cover wear and tear on equipment such as a CV card transfer fee, ect. If your an independent photography it all depends on how much you feel your time and effort are worth. But don't short change yourself.
Also, did you sign any contracts for this job? For that type of work you can also ask for royalty fees based upon their use of the image. If they are making money from it, so should you. So you might want to look into granting specific rights for your images. If your not receiving royalties and they have full copyright, then up your price.
